Recycling initiative

Every 10 minutes, an estimated 6,000 kilos of textiles and clothing are dumped in landfill in Australia. 

 As consumers, it is our responsibility to be more conscious and considered about how and where we get rid of our waste and ensure we educate ourselves on the most impactful solutions. 

 Like many organisations we were faced with the challenge of not knowing the best way to recycle old samples or unusable goods which is when we discovered Textile Recyclers Australia.  Their uniform recycling program takes branded materials and up-cycles them into new fibres giving unwanted goods a true second life supporting a circular economy. We know the role we play is only minor however we hope that by sharing this information we can inspire others knowing what we do now impacts future generations.
