Recycled fabrics
As part of our sustainability initiative, we have begun utilising recycled fabrics in more than 80% of our product range, with the aim to expand this offering over time.
By utilising recycled fabrics we are able to recycle plastic normally bound for landfill. Additionally, the production process used to create the recycled yarn requires less energy compared to traditional production practices, reducing our carbon footprint.
Our recycled fabrics have been extensively quality tested to ensure that no compromise on quality has been made.
How our recycled fabric is made
1) Waste breakdown
Plastic waste material is chopped, ground, washed, and shredded into flakes.
2) Forming the fibre
The flakes are then melted into chips and spun into yarn.
3) Weaving the fabric
The yarn is then woven into rolls of fabric.
4) Creating your garment
The fabric is then used to create your made-to-order garment.
Recycled fabric types
Our 100% polyester Pongee fabric is created with yarn made from recycled plastic bottles, making it an eco-friendly choice for your garment. This woven fabric is lightweight and suitable for any climate. The composition of the Pongee fabric lends itself perfectly to sublimation, giving you the choice of over 200+ colours to use in your design.
Make an environmentally conscious choice with our 100% polyester satin lining that has been created using recycled plastic bottles. This fabric has a silky soft feel, making it ideal for lining your jacket. The lining can be customized with colours and decorations to add something extra special to your garment. Combining the natural fibres of cotton which is soft but not known for its strength with the synthetic fibres of recycled polyester to enhance the fabrics performance. The Polycotton Fleece is a durable and comfortable midweight fabric that is wrinkle free and perfect for moderate to cool temperatures. 100% cotton facing to avoid balling on the fabrics surface with a blended 70% cotton 30% recycled polyester brushed fleece backing.
A woven fabric made from 100% Recycled polyester that won’t fade, shrink or warp. It’s also semi-waterproof, lightweight and incredibly durable. The fabric is compatible with digital printing technology providing you with the ultimate customisation experience to bring your designs and brand to life.
Super-lightweight, soft, durable, anti-static, antibacterial, breathable and quick-drying. With all its benefits plus the added advantage that it's created with yarn made from recycled plastic bottles this fabric is sure to impress. The fabric is sublimated with digital printing technology using heat transfer to apply images/colour to the fabric. This process provides you with a choice of over 200+ colours to bring your designs/brand to life. Our polyester birdseye is 100% recycled polyester.
